Chocolate Peanut-Butter Toast
The goodness of peanut-butter toast with melted chocolate chips on top. Spend an extra minute in the kitchen for an indulgent breakfast that is also quite healthy, thrifty, and comforting. If you are awake enough, lay out the chocolate chips in a fun design or pattern. Vegan and vegetarian with dairy-free chocolate chips and bread. Gluten-free if you use gluten-free bread.

  1. Toast bread. Use a toaster oven if you have it. If you don’t, then turn the oven on to 350 degrees F too.
  2. Spread toast with peanut butter. Arrange chocolate chips on top. Pop the toast back into the oven (toaster or otherwise) for about 45 seconds. The chips will melt but hold their shape.
