Why This Challenge Now?

Seriously, I needed to get into better shape. I was doing fine swimming all summer, but then the pool closed for the fall and it was too hot to walk well into October. I’ve also developed a few too many new dessert recipes. The recipes are awesome, worth “testing” again and again, but I’m out of shape.

Fortunately, I ran across Dr. Greger’s inspiring new book How Not to Die. I’ve tried out his ideas for a month and already feel a lot better. So much better, in fact, that I’m mediating for a half hour every morning again and sleeping better than I have in months.
